A photograph showing a giant snake allegedly slithering onto a bed where a mother and child appear to be sleeping has gone viral on social media, with many users sharing it as a real incident from Pathsala.

The image gained traction after reports emerged of a frightening snake scare in Pathsala. According to sources, a large venomous snake was found inside a room where a mother and her young child were sleeping. The reptile had reportedly entered the house unnoticed and was later discovered on the bed, dangerously close to the sleeping pair.

The incident occurred near the Bisarnaala canal area, adjacent to the Pathsala Municipal Board office. Municipal officials who witnessed the snake stated that the canal has long been known as a hotspot for snakes. They recalled that several snakes had emerged from the area during previous vegetation-clearing operations along the canal.

Fortunately, neither the mother nor the child was harmed, and no snakebite was reported. The snake later disappeared from the room before it could be captured. Sources confirmed that all members of the family are safe and in good health.

However, questions have been raised about the authenticity of the viral photograph being circulated in connection with the incident. Screenshots shared online show Google’s Gemini AI describing the image as a digitally manipulated or fabricated photograph. According to the AI assessment, the image contains alleged inconsistencies in the snake’s size, lighting, shadows, and overall composition.
