Women have been continuously subjected to violence and abuse in many parts of our country by malevolent forces. Taking women lightly and the weakness for sexual desires, evil forces continue to abuse women and small children.
To mitigate such incidents in future an institution named “Bajali Karate” is providing training to more than 50 boys and girls. Different Mixture of Martial Arts like Karate, Judo, Taekwondo for self-defence is being taught to make them strong and brave. These skills with heavy physical training are being learnt by 4-year-old to 22-year-old boys and girls. Girl Childs are trained for free by one Arnab Jan Sarma, which is highly praised by the local people.
Taking the issue of women empowerment and self-defence seriously, Barpeta’s Karate Organization’s Vice President, Arnab Jan Sarma told in a meeting held in Bajali Higher Secondary school that the girls who are willing and eager to learn these skills will be trained free.
Social Worker and Notary Giridhar Choudhury, Assam’s Brand Ambassador of Forest and Environment Department Ananda Khataniar many more senior citizens were present in the meeting.
