2 girls drown while taking bath in Pahumara river in Bajali

In a tragic incident two girl drowned in Pahumara river in lower Assam’s Bajali district.

According to the police, the deceased were identified as 13 year old Afsana khatun and 10 year old Elija khatun of Kurobaha Pather of Bajali district.

Sources said, the incident took place when the trio went to take bath and accidentally drowned into deep side of the river.

Bhawanipur police along with a team of SDRf rushed to the spot and recovered the two bodies and one rescued.
