For the past 50 years, 70-year-old Tengo Ghosh, a resident of Taltal in Bajali district, has been a familiar sight on the streets of Pathsala. Carrying a tin full of fresh, syrupy rasgullas, he has walked miles every day, bringing sweetness to people’s lives.

Ghosh began his journey at the age of 20, dedicating his life to this simple yet heartwarming trade. His rasgullas, known for their authentic taste and soft texture, have become a favorite among locals. Despite his age, he continues his daily rounds, selling the sweet treats from door to door.

Residents of Pathsala admire his dedication and hard work. Many recall buying rasgullas from him since their childhood and appreciate his unwavering commitment. “He is not just a seller; he is a part of our memories,” said a local resident.
