In an unfortunate incident, a 38-year-old man stabs himself multiple times while dancing under the influence of alcohol in Banganga area of Madhya Pradesh’s Indore district on Thursday.
The incident happened in Kushwaha Nagar on Thursday night when Gopal Solanki (38), a tailor, along with his friends, was dancing following Holika Dahan ritual.
Armed with a knife, Solanki allegedly stabbed himself as many as four times and started bleeding. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, media reported.
Solanki and his friends were drunk at the time of the incident, police said.
The whole incident was caught on camera. A video of the incident has gone viral on social media.
Banganga police said that the deceased’s body has been sent for post-mortem and further investigation is underway.
