With governments across the world struggling to fight the coronavirus pandemic, A 95 year old retired teacher from Assam’s Bajali area under Barpeta district of Lower Assam donated money of Rs 25000 to Assam Arogya Nidhi to fight against Corona virus outbreak.

Sadananda Sarma and his wife Bhagawati Devi handed over the money through cheque to State executive member of BJP, Phani Pathak.

Sadananda Sarma who is a retired teacher from 204 no. Saru Manikpur Primary school.

The couple was felicitated by BJP member Phani Pathak at Doisingori uttar suba village in Barpeta district.
Latter , Pathak submitted the cheque to Bajali SDO (C), Nayan Jyoti Bhagabati.

The couple has no children of their own and they live supporting each other. In today’s world their lifestyle and contribution are an inspiration to many.
