At a time when several news of wedding is going viral on social media for all the wrong reasons, an unusual wedding with unexpected decoration has come to light where environment friendly decorative items such as banana leaf, pigeon’s nest and bamboos were put up.
The wedding was of environment lover Bikash Kalita who designed his wedding panel at his home as eco friendly as possible.
Kalita who hails from Pathsala town in lower Assam, by profession a guitarist and a member of the Cultivators group a well known music brand of Assam.
Earlier, to spread awareness on global warming he travelled on his bicycle on the occasion of his birthday where he covered 100 km from Asia’s second-largest tree in Jalikhata, Pathsala to Dr Bhupen Hazarika Samadhi Kshetra in Guwahati with his bicycle.
